More New Converts?

No, no. This was just a lovely half-mile stroll on a FLAT trail around beautiful Sprague Lake with plenty of sunshine to temper the cold wind. The four of us made this trek BEFORE Rich and Bill did the Bear Lake to Nymph Lake trail. (Sorry that this post is out of order.) These are some photos from the hike.
We have more than half the trail behind us at this point. The views are really beautiful from nearly every point along the trail. The peak nearly hidden at the far right is Hallett Peak, another one in Bill's hiking future, he says.

A little further along, I asked these good people to pose for a snapshot. MOST of us had worn head gear to protect the ears, neck, head in the winter wind! Bill, Dee, Rich.

Isn't this gorgeous and awesome? I'm really referring to the frozen lake and mountains in the background! Hallett Peak is now the one directly above my head. MOST of us wore headgear AND gloves to keep out the cold! Yeah, and I had my hood cinched pretty tight. Really flattering, isn't it? Rich, Linda, Bill.
