After Bill and Chris' experience on Long's Peak a few weeks ago, I was NOT ready to see Bill take off on another hiking adventure. However, with his sister Pam here, I didn't want to spoil her fun so I only warned them to go prepared for awful weather this time and to PLEASE be careful.
Their destination on August 26 was Twin Sisters. This hike didn't require such an early start, wasn't as high (something around 12,000 ft.), and would not take as long to go and return. Bill and Pam may write up a description of their hike, so I'll not say much here. All I can say is that I was so glad to get their call when they were driving back from the trailhead about 1:30! As always, the scenery was beautiful, they said, and the photos below will prove it.
