Our Last Visitors This Year

We picked up Bob, Melanie, and Jonah at DIA on Saturday for their two-week stay. Bill's folks and sister Pam left on Tuesday morning. Here are a few photos of our activities since then.

Bill, Bob, and Jonah were the only racers on the Go-kart track. As you can see, Bill is blocking Bob from passing him; he managed to do this the whole ride. When they rode a second time, Bob was ahead, Bill passed him and Jonah, and then Bob spun him into the rail. When the attendant came to push Bill's car away from the rail, he said to Bill, "Don't do that anymore."

Bill, Bob, Melanie, Jonah had a blast battling it out on the bumper cars. I think Melanie got the worst of it. Her mother was concerned.
Jonah wanted to go on the Xtreme Trampoline. He did great until he bounced fairly high. Then he was ready to end the ride. Since he didn't take the whole time, this guy gave him a ticket for a free other ride.

After having fun at Ride-A-Kart, we had supper at McD's.

Every Thursday we enjoy going to the Farmers' Market at the fairgrounds. There are so many goods to buy: garden produce, breads, flowers, pastas, salsa, honey, baskets, information on several subjects, coffees, fish, sweet rolls, and . . . MUFFINS!!

Jonah holds a muffin bought at the market.

After the Farmers' market, lunch, and a bit more work (Bill working in the loft), Bill, Bob, and Jonah went to Haystack Mountain to play golf. They had a good time. Melanie and I had a good rest, a quiet afternoon, and got to watch something on TV besides news shows! Pizza tonight!
