Overlapping Visits

And the swinging door in Estes Park stays well-used and lubricated! Bill's folks and sister Pam drove in on Saturday evening while Bill and Melodye were still here. We all attended the Wesleyan Church together on Sunday morning. After changing clothes, we each purchased our own fast food lunch from either Subway or KFC and took it to the Park for a picnic. Though I posted one photo of this before, here is another.

Unfortunately, it sooned rained us out, so we returned home. After supper from the grill that evening, some went downtown to look around. Bill and Melodye got most of their things packed for an early start in the morning. This Saturday we will pick up Bob, Melanie, and Jonah at DIA for their two-week stay. Bill's folks and Pam are leaving sometime after Labor Day, I guess. I'm ready to have children here again.

Some of you know that the only way we can be away from home as long as we have been is that Bill is able to work while here. His office is set up in the loft, and he has easy contact with his partners and others at home. Ah, technology today! He can do everything here that he can do in IL except see clients in person--of course, there is always the webcam! Anyway, the point is, he must work (usually from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 or 2:00 p.m.) part of the day; then he feels free to take time to entertain company or do something we want to do. Therefore, Pam has taken their folks shopping, sightseeing, walking the riverwalk, lunch, etc.

However, not all the sights to be seen are in the high mountains or downtown. These shots were from our own front door or other windows of the house last evening. There was no zoom feature used here! By the way, they trimmed some of the trees and bushes pretty well!
