Laryngitis and Sleeping In

This a rare thing for me. I am without a voice! Sadly, my husband won't get to enjoy seeing me without hearing me since I'm helping out at our daughter's this week. The laryngitis is the result of a nasty cold. It's really hard not to try to talk to the people around you, you know? Whispering is very unsatisfactory, and I noticed these three people have been trying to read my lips part of the time.

I slept in this morning to help get over the cold. Only those who know me well would be shocked at that fact--sleeping late on a Sunday morning. However, I do feel better tonight than last night. Maybe tomorrow I'll feel like giving Jonah a run for his money in a bowling game on the Wii. He rolled SEVEN strikes in a row at our house the other night and ended with a score of 240 compared to my piddly 140! Have you ever been put down (though he's so kind & matter-of-fact about it) by a five-year-old?
