This week will be spent with daughter Melanie, son-in-law Bob, and grandson Jonah. It will be tough to be away from my husband for several days, but it will be fun to be with these kids that I don't get to see very often. That is the kind of freedom that retirement brings. There is no workplace that keeps me from helping out when I'm needed. Nor is there anything to hinder our heading to Colorado for two weeks following this one. I LOVE being retired!
I'm here to relieve my daughter of the stress of household jobs and getting meals for herself and Jonah. Stress only complicates her health problems more than necessary. Though many family members and friends have prayed for her healing over the last several years, God has not yet seen fit to do so. When He does, we will never stop telling others about it!
Meanwhile, expect me to post pictures of this precious family this week. I LOVE being retired!
