Out With the Old, In With the New!

Everyone was up and ready for the day early on Saturday morning. John and Becky had driven all night (over 800 miles) to join us for just a few days; the early company (Ed, Ruth Ann, Bill, Melodye) were heading home after breakfast. J & B arrived here about 7:30 or so. We soon all went to breakfast at "The Egg and I".

After J & B got some rest, we visited for a long while then had supper and went to the mountain shop to look around. The guys plan to snowshoe tomorrow afternoon. We all turned in early. Bill's and Ed's stopped in Belleville, KS, to spend the night.

Sunday morning found some of us sleeping in a bit . . . okay, it was me! Church isn't until ten, so we had plenty of time. Following the service, we had lunch at the Mountaineer; always good, always plenty. Back at the condo the guys made preps for their trek this afternoon. We gals cautioned them against injury, or getting lost, etc. and off they went. Becky and I visited and napped near the warm fire.

When the guys came back, John said he had really enjoyed the trek. They had some good pictures to show.
John must be messing with his camera.

Good photo of the two.

WHY do these people want to stand on the ice in the middle of a lake?
