Another Christmas season done. Well, almost . . . since hubby's company Christmas dinner had to be postponed because of weather, we are having that tonight. It's always low-key and relaxed since he has it catered by a local caterer. Melanie and Jonah stayed here while Bob went home to work these 2 1/2 days and then to return and stay the weekend. I've been doing their and our laundry along with a lot of picking up Christmas paraphernalia around the house.
Tomorrow evening we may meet "Hummingbird" and family for supper and a celebration of her birthday, if Melanie feels up to it. New Year's Eve will be our time to babysit three of the grandkids while parents enjoy a good time with the cousins. Hubby nearly refuses to be on the road on N.Y. Eve. We'll have two of our kids here for lunch on N. Y.'s Day. Maybe we'll grill as the weather looks favorable. Friday will be a day of laundry, packing, and planning for two trips: I return to Bob and Melanie's for the week to help out there. Then Bill and I will leave from there on the tenth for Colorado. He needs a couple of weeks of mountain air before beginning another tax season of 15-hour days, six days a week.

The Christmas Eve soup supper looked like a lot of fun!

That was wise to post the picture of Brad and Micah...it may give them a little exposure in the single adult world...who knows? :)
